Annual Membership
Important Note: Effective January 1, 2012 membership fee is $25.00 per year or $45.00 for a family membership (2 or
more members per family).
Our membership year is January to December.
How Do I Become a Member?
Any child or adult can join the fun! Children & adults with all types of disabilities
are encouraged to register. Our programs are integrated which means that those who
are not disabled are welcome to attend too! We have a program to fit most everyone's
interests.
Call or visit our office. We'll ask you to fill out a membership form and pay a
small annual fee. Once you're a member, you will receive our newsletter which outlines
all upcoming programs, a program information package, and can register, by phone,
for any program you wish!
Print out an application form and
mail or fax it into our office.
Can I Vote?
Members who are over the age of 18 can vote. Members who are under 18 may have a
parent or guardian vote on their behalf.
Society memberships are also available for individuals or groups who would like
to vote at our Annual General Meeting and receive our newsletters. These memberships
can be purchased by adults, 18 years of age and older, or interested organizations
for $10.00 per year.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - for members and non-members
Aktion Club is a community-service group for adult citizens who live with a disability. The mission of Aktion Club is:
To provide adults living with disabilities an opportunity to develop initiative and leadership skills.

To demonstrate the dignity and value of citizens living with disabilities
Aktion Club members strive to return to their communities the benefits, help, and caring they have received, as well as develop important skills in the process.
This opportunity is open to members of the organization AND non-members too!
